About us

We are a horse savvy family that practices natural horsemanship and firmly believes in obtaining a solid foundation through groundwork, making it easier on everyone to move to the next step. We put a lot of focus on getting horses light and responsive as well as desensitized to many objects/obstacles. We proceed to riding exercises when appropriate and always strive for softness. Our family consists of three generations that have a passion for equines. Whether it be trail riding, beach riding, camping, gymkhana, parades, drill team or showing, you can bet if there's horses involved we're having a good time!

SALES

We work hard year round, creating well trained, respectful horse citizens. We believe every horse is good at something, even if its just to be a dependable trail mount. We put a lot of wet saddle pads and miles on our equines trying to find their calling in life and when we feel that they're ready, they are offered up for sale and the process of finding them the best match begins.

TRAINING

Have a pushy, disrespectful horse? We can help. With groundwork as the main focus, we use gentle yet firm techniques that effectively allow us to get your horse using the thinking side of his/her brain. If you feel like your own horsemanship skills need work, we can help with that as well! We don't focus on colt starting or dangerous problem horses here, generally the horses accepted in for training are already going under saddle and need consistency and fine tuning. However, we can offer a program geared towards just groundwork and setting a solid foundation for future backing as well. Training is offered at $1100/month. Horses are worked 5-6 days per week, hay given twice per day and owner may provide additional grain or supplements to be fed, stalls picked once per day and unlimited clean water provided.  I love the owner to be part of the horses learning process and gladly accept visits! Check with us for room and availability!

Available:

BARBIE - 16 year old, grade palomino pinto/pony mare, stands approx. 13.1 hands and cute as can be. Shes a quiet mare thats been ridden by kids and has a "been there done that" personality. Happy to hit the trails, fart around the arena or just stand calmly to be groomed. She's been ridden bareback and western, no issues with tacking up, not fancy broke but easy to handle. She is a sweet girl, who deserves a new little to call her own! $4500

MARLEY - 12 year old grade, grey quarter horse, gelding, stands approx 15 hands. Marley has been ridden western and bareback, snaffle, curb or just a halter, he prefers to go slower which is probably the best lifestyle for him considering he has a bit of a crooked front leg. He gets around fine, has done trails, ridden on the road with traffic, ridden in the arena and around the property, he has competed in low level gymkhanas but would not be a good candidate for heavy gaming or strenuous riding. Marley is quiet, gentle and SO good natured, he will make a lovely addition to a family looking for a nice beginners horse. $2000
